Nunsense 25th Anniversary Tour Starring Sally Struthers

Saturday, November 8, 2008 we saw Sally Struthers in Nunsense at the Paramount Theatre in Aurora, IL. The seven extremely talented women cast as nuns almost allowed us to overlook the ridiculous plot and a forgettable musical score. Miss Struthers as the Reverend Mother is hilarious, and has perfect comedic timing. The play includes plenty of jokes to make the most of Miss Struthers background. Jeanne Tinker, as Sister Mary Amnesia, brings down the house with "I Could've Gone to Nashville". The performance we saw earned an immediate standing ovation.
